With tax season squeezing everyone’s wallets, we decided to turn an unlimited resource into actual currency. Introducing The Data Bank–a first-of-its-kind mobile bank that literally lets you cash in on your phone’s data usage.
The Bank
We created a truly mobile bank that drove around NYC to help make people data rich.
The bank was complete with data deposit slips, a teller, and fully loaded credit cards starting at $45 and ranging up to $200.
THE Experience
To cash in, all guests had to do was fill out a deposit slip with their data usage and hand it to the Data Teller to get a credit card. People were lining up before we even opened, and we had to close early because we ran out of money. It’s safe to say we made the people of NYC Data Rich!

Straight Talk already helps people save money on their wireless. So with the announcement of Walmart+ being included on Straight Talk plans to help them save even more, we knew we had to have an event only for VIPs – Value Interested People.

We then had an exclusive VIP event for Value Interested People at Walmart where they could get their hair and makeup done before walking on the green carpet for a photo shoot.
